HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
We highly recommend you book your treatment in advance to secure your preferred day and time. Bookings can be made in person at Carson Aesthetics, over the phone (203)-874-7456, or on our website www.carsonaesthetics.com.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT
Being on time for your appointment is important so that you may receive your full service and our other guests are not inconvenienced. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your appointment to allow time for you to change, complete our guest Pre-Treatment Form and to relax prior to your service.
WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE?
Timing is Everything We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before all other services. Please note that treatments must end on time, regardless of their start time. If you arrive later, we will not be able to complete the service or provide a refund.
WHAT'S THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
To ensure all guests of Carson Aesthetics begin their treatment on time and receive the full spa experience, we request that you notify us if you will be unable to make your appointment.
• 24-hour minimum notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of any single service.
• 48-hour notice is required for the cancellation of any multiple-service booking or spa package.
• A full-service charge will be incurred for any late cancellations or no-show appointments.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT? WHAT'S THE SPA EXPERIENCE LIKE?
For the comfort of all of our clients, we ask that all cell phones should be turned off. Prior to your service, you are required to complete a confidential Guest Pre-Treatment Form to safeguard your well-being and comfort, and to allow us to safely deliver our services by minimizing any risk of injury.
HOW DOES YOUR PRICING WORK? IS GRATUITY INCLUDED?
Carson Aesthetics reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met. If you have any questions, please ask when you book your appointment. Gratuities and tipping are at the discretion of our clients. Gift certificates do not include gratuity unless specifically noted otherwise.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. To secure your appointment, we will request a credit card or gift certificate number; however, you can pay for your services on the day of your appointment with cash, check, credit card and/or gift certificate.
DO YOU DO GROUP EVENTS OR PARTIES?
Yes, we do! Group events, as well as corporate and leisure events, are available at both our spa location or at an off-site venue of your choosing. Give us a call at 203-874-7546 for more information.
CAN CHILDREN COME TO THE SPA?
Spa services are generally not appropriate for minors. Children under the age of 18 will need a signed waiver and/or accompaniment by a parent or adult guardian for services. Minors are not otherwise permitted in the Spa. Online bookings cannot be made by persons under 18 years of age.
SHOULD I LEAVE MY VALUABLES AT HOME?
Carson Aesthetics is not responsible for the loss or damage of your personal articles or property. We strongly advise that you not bring valuables (such as expensive clothing and jewelry, money etc.) with you to the Spa. If you choose to bring valuable items with you to the Spa, then you do so at your own risk and you should not leave any such items unattended. We can provide safe deposit boxes for your convenience.
WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION OR AM PREGNANT?
We request that you disclose any medical conditions and/or prescription medications as some services may be contraindicated. Please advise our professional staff of any allergies or sensitivities or if you are pregnant. Some treatments are not recommended for guests who have certain conditions. For your safety we require a doctor’s clearance before beginning treatment, particularly in the face of the following conditions:
• Cancer
• Cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure
• Swollen or painful lymph nodes
• Undiagnosed skin rash or thrombosis
• New injury of any kind
• Open sores
• Arthritis (osteo- or rheumatoid)
• Diabetes, particularly if the client is experiencing foot problems
• Blood Disorder and Disease
HOW DO GIFT CARDS AND GIFT CERTIFICATES WORK?
We sell both gift cards and gift certificates (“gift certificates”), a wonderful gift for any special occasion or celebration. Gift certificates can be used as tender at checkout. Carson Aesthetics is not responsible for lost gift certificates. Gift certificates are not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit, except where required by law. Gift certificates cannot be used towards Series purchases. To provide maximum protection to the purchaser, our gift certificates become active and may be redeemed 24 hours after purchase. Gift certificates will be honored at our locations. Packages may only be used by one guest. Any changes or substitutions will forfeit any discounted prices. Gift certificates convert to their original-purchase dollar value when:
• Redemption occurs after December 31 of the year following purchase year
• Redemption occurs and designated service is not available
• Redemption in full of Spa Package does not occur in single visit
• Redeemed for any services other than those which are listed on the gift certificate
Privacy Policy
Commitment to Privacy. The appropriate collection and use of guest’s personal and basic health information is fundamental. We strive to protect the privacy and the confidentiality of this information.
Personal and Basic Health Information Gathered in the Health History Form (HHF)

The guests of Carson Aesthetics Wellness Spa during their first appointment are requested to fill-out a HHF in which they provide some personal information (name, occupation, address, phone number, day of birth, etc) as well as some basic health information (allergies, current medications, health problems). Guests are asked to update their forms yearly, in case some of the information contained in the HHF has changed.

If guests buy spa treatments or products directly from Carson Aesthetics Wellness Spa website, guests are required to provide account information (guest name, address, email, telephone) and credit card information. All information is encrypted through a SSL. A SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate authenticates the website to make sure it is who it says it is and then encrypts any information sent from the website.

Applicability of This Privacy Policy. Carson Aesthetics Wellness Spa Privacy Policy applies to of all our guests’ information that is in our possession and control.
Our Privacy Policy reflects our compliance with fair information practices, applicable laws and standards of practice.

We take our commitment to securing guests privacy very seriously.

Why We Collect Information – Use, Disclosure and Retention
The information requested in the HHF will assist Carson Aesthetics Wellness Spa in providing aesthetic and / or body treatments safely to our guests. The information we request to our guests is used for the purpose defined. HHF are read and analyzed by the Estheticians and/or Register Massage Therapists (RMTs) before any treatment. Under no circumstances do we sell guests lists or other personal information to third parties. We retain HHF for the time it is required by law.

Safeguards Protecting Your Information

Carson Aesthetics Wellness Spa protects guests’ information with appropriate safeguards and security measures. Information is kept in a combination of paper and electronic files. The HHFs are scanned and kept electronically; daily back ups are done. The system is password protected. Scanned paper forms are kept locked at the Guest Relations Manager’s office, until its destruction (using a paper shredding machine) every 6 months. Record of destruction is kept in a binder in the Guest Relations Manager’s office.
The Spa Coordinators, Estheticians and/or the RMTs have access to the forms through their own assigned password. The system maintains a record of who has done what in the system.
Should any guest wish to read or have access to her/his HHF, she/he should ask for it to the Spa Manager who will provide her/him such form.
This Policy will be periodically reinforced to the Spa Coordinators, RMTs and Estheticians by the Spa Manager and will also be periodically updated as required.
